KINGSWAY SPORTING COMPLEX

Public BBQ

Kingsway Sporting Complex is a sprawling multi-sport facility built around extensive playing fields and bike tracks. The complex hosts cricket nets, soccer pitches, and netball courts, with a dinosaur-themed playground drawing families to the surrounding parklands. A recently refurbished toilet block sits at the centre of the grounds. The space doubles as a popular off-leash dog area, with a dedicated small dog enclosure featuring new grass. Open ponds scattered throughout attract ducks and koi fish, though parents need to watch young children near the water. The flat walking tracks circle the sporting areas, making it easy to cover distance or let dogs run. Little Athletics runs programs here with solid facilities and active coordinators. Most visitors are friendly dog owners and sports families, though occasional disputes break out over dog behaviour. The combination of open space, maintained sporting facilities, and wildlife viewing spots makes it functional for both organised sport and casual picnics.
